Up to $300 for Early iPhone Adopters

Steve Jobs has announced that Apple will offer a $100 credit to those who purchased an iPhone prior to the $200 price cut. It has also been reported that American Express customers have been calling the Amex Return Protection line at 800-297-8019 and getting a $200 check or credit to their accounts. Here is one customers response from Amex.

So the big question is can early iPhone adopters that used Amex to purchase their devices double dip and get $200 back from Amex along with the $100 credit from Apple? According to Apple's site they will be offering the $100 credit to customers not receiving rebates or any other considerations. Not sure how Amex's price protection plays into this but its definitely worth the try
